For these problems the plate to occlusal function
     * To absorb some of the constraints of forces and Clenching bruxism (teeth clench).
     * To relax the muscles of the jaw to calm the tension.
     * To relieve the jaw joints (ATM) and reduce pain.
     * To limit the progression of the deterioration of the teeth by bruxism, and bone joints.
Life and limits
The occlusal plate may take a few years depending on the severity of bruxism. It must be renewed every two to three years. Then temporary treatment to correct the wrong position jaws.
